ABOUT SHOWING
Showing On, L.Ac., M.S., CMT, is the sole proprietor and licensed acupuncturist at the On Wellness Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and her four-year medical training from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is certified by the California Acupuncture Board, and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM.
In addition to the time she spent at the ACTCM clinic, Showing has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including California Pacific Medical Center Stroke Clinic, Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic, and Guilin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. She is currently working on completing board certification in Acupuncture Orthopedics. Showing also works with Lifang Liang, Ph.D., L.Ac, a Chinese doctor who is one of the world's leading fertility authorities. She volunteers at Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic, which offers free acupuncture and other alternative treatments to low-income women with cancer.
Showing embraces a holistic approach to health where vitality of life - not just absence of disease - is sought. After having been administered unsuccessful steroid treatments for her carpal tunnel syndrome, acupuncture instantly dispersed the pain for Showing. She finds great joy in providing a drug-free alternative to a wide array of health conditions.
